How to Shop at www.buildahotrod.com
To purchase an item click the Shop online link on the left of the page. Then click the category you want all the items will load in to the page then slide the scroll bar down to find the item you want. Click on the item and the item description and image if it has one will load. Under the item page there is a drop down list to select the quantity of items you want then click the yellow Add to cart button. To view the items in your cart select the Show Cart link at the bottom of the page and all the items you wish to purchase will be displayed. When you have finished shopping review all your purchases in the Show cart page then click the Check out link. An order page will load with all your purchased listed and totaled. Enter all your details so our staff can contact you about payment options and delivery. Don't forget to make a copy of the order page by clicking the Print button or at least copy the Order Confirmation Number. When you have finished filling all the details click the Submit Form button and your order will be processed. You will be contacted by one of our staff. If you have entered an item you don't require close the order form (if open) then click the Remove button next to the item you want.

Using Site search.
You can find an item using the search field. Enter a keyword relating to the item you require then click the Go button. The page should load items relating the search words. If no items are found use a phrase to describe the item you are looking for. This causes the search system to preform a more complex search and it may take some time to respond.

Video conditions of use.
Any visitor can view any videos without registering. Some videos may contain images that may be offensive to some visitors and or may require parental guidance. If you do not agree with any of the following conditions then do not use this web site.

You must register to have access to the upload facilities. See the instruction on how to register below. A visitor who registers must provide true and correct information including email address.
No violence, explicit sex, nudity or pornography, unlawful, obscene, defamatory, libelous, threatening, harassing, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive material will be accepted. The management at www.buildahotrod.com has the right to refuse any video they deem unsuitable.

The registered visitor who submits a video must have exclusive rights to display that video and or the right to any display content whether be it personal images or images of objects or people the registered visitor does not own or associate with. Including material that is copyrighted, protected by trade secret or otherwise subject to third party proprietary rights, including privacy and publicity rights but not limited to these descriptions.

Instructions To view a video just click on the video icon and it will automatically play. The video includes a control panel that has a play, pause, stop and volume controls. It also has a play position slide that shows how much of the video has been shown and or uploaded.

Video Instructions
How to Register
To upload a video you must register (sign or join as a member). Please read the conditions of use before registering. To register click the Sign Up link on the movie page and this will take you to a page where you enter your user name, password then click next to continue. The next page you enter your email address. Click Next button to continue. This takes you to the forget password page where you select a subject that is easy to remember and then a name associated with that subject. When you click Next you will go to the video page registeration page so you can print a copy of your membership information. Click Next to complete regerstration and you go back to the movie page where you can login to your new account.
Login using your user name and password. Your Member Console page has a Download, Upload, Icon movie links and Password change link. There also is a Help link (this Page) and the Logout link.

To Logout of your account click the Logout 'X' icon on the right of the blue window bar of the Member Console page. A conformation panel will appear, just click OK to continue to logout.

To change your password
From your Member Console click the Change Password link. To change your password just enter your user name and new password and then the new password a second time and click submit. The page will report if the change was successful. To close the page click the close 'X' icon on the right of the blue window bar of the Password Change page.

How to Upload a Movie
From your Member Consol click the Movie Upload link. On that page from the first field select the category your video should be shown in. Next enter the Video title name then duration of the movie and video author name. In the video description field give a brief description of the video content. Next click the Browse button and search for the video on your hard drive. Finally click the upload button and if all goes well you should be able to go ahead and load the next one. You must have an entry in every field or the page will display an error. The video may not be on display for up to 24 hours.

You must understand that the larger the movie is (in megabytes) the longer it will take to upload. Also the maximum size movie file we can accept is 10 megabytes. To close the page click the close 'X' icon on the right of the blue window bar of the Movie Upload page.

How to Save a Movie Link
From your Member Consol click the Movie Links link. To save video link. Search for the video link from Goggle or Youtube then highlight the link and select Copy from the edit menu of your browser. This copies the link to the clipboard on your computer. Logon to your www.buildahotrod.com account from Member Console select the video link icon. On that page from the first field select the category your video should be shown in. Next enter the Video title name then the duration ofthe clip in seconds and then video author/source name. In the video description field give a brief description of the video content. Next Paste the link from the clipboard into the bottom field by selecting Paste from the Edit menu of your browser. Finally click the Save Link button and if all goes well you should be able to go ahead and save the next one. You must have an entry in every field or the page will display an error. The video will be display immediately. We can only accept links from Goggle and Youtube. To close the page click the close 'X' icon on the right of the blue window bar of the Movie Link page.

Some movies on YouTube and Google are restricted and may not work. Some the viewer may be transfered to the accociated website to be asked to register. If you have any trouble please email us at www.buildahotrod.com for advice.

How to save a Movie file Icon
From your Member Consol click the Movie Icon link. When you upload a movie it is asigned a generic icon. You can upload a replacement icon. The icon must be a 'gif' image with the dementions of 130 pixels wide and 100 heigh for the best resolution. The file size must be no larger than 60kb.
Select the file you want the icon for from the list on the left. The page will then display the current generic icon. Then browse your hard drive for the Icon you want for your movie. Next click the Upload Icon button. Click the same movie link from your list on the left and the new icon will be desplayed. You can cange the icon if you want at any time. To close the page click the close 'X' icon on the right of the blue window bar of the Movie Icon page.

Website Recommendations:
This website is best viewed with Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Internet Explorer. Other browsers may view all content but Netscape should be avoided. Recommended screen reslution no less than 1024X768. To view movie content it,s recommended you have the latest video player plugin for your browser and operating system. Not all plugin play every type of video file so you may need more than one type of plugin.
